Adults and Children £3.50 each

Price to enjoy our Christmas Post Room and visit Santa:

Child - £6.50 - This price includes a wrapped present suitable for the child’s age and gender.
There is no additional charge to the £3.50 post room ticket for an adult to visit Santa with their child but a restriction of two adults per child applies. 

What will my visit consist of?
If you book a ticket to visit our Christmas Post Room you will be entering our Christmas selfie heaven that is perfect for all ages. You can capture as many selfies and fun family snaps as you like in each of our themed rooms that have been designed to bring together the traditional with the unexpected.

If you book to visit Santa, you’ll not only get to enjoy the magic of the Christmas Post Room but you will also be invited into Santa’s Hidden Grotto. Here you will have a 1-on-1 visit with Santa and receive a special gift. You’ll have a professional family photograph taken with Santa, which can then be applied to a choice of a high-quality gift items to purchase if you wish. Photographs are not included in the ticket price.

Do I need a ticket for my baby?

Yes, all children visiting the Post Room and Santa will need a ticket to enjoy the experience and receive a gift from Santa.

How long will my visit take? 

Each session in the Post Room is designed to last approx. 20 mins. This allows time for your visit to Santa, purchasing photos if you wish and time to have fun in the Post Room themed rooms.  Due to high the demand at Christmas time, these timings will enable everyone to have the chance to visit and enjoy their time in the Post Room.

Why should I book in advance? 
Due to high demand, we recommend that you pre-book your tickets to visit Santa to avoid disappointment. We anticipate there will be tickets available for some slots on the day, but we cannot guarantee this.

Can I book in centre or walk up and pay on the day?
If you wish for your child to visit Santa and chose not to book in advance, it may be possible to purchase tickets on entry on the day, but availability is not guaranteed.

How will I receive my ticket(s)?

If you book your tickets online, you will receive an e-ticket to the email address you booked with. If you purchase tickets on entry you will receive a printed ticket and receipt to show on entry.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No, you can show your ticket on your smart phone. Alternatively, you can print your ticket and bring it with you if you do not have a smart phone.

I forgot to buy a ticket for a member of my party, can they still attend on the day?

We cannot guarantee availability of tickets on the day and the final decision will be made by the manager at the Post Room depending on the number of existing bookings for that time slot.  We will always try and accommodate your additional family member whenever possible.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets:

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are late for your allocated time or cannot make your session for any reason unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or alternative session. Should we find it necessary to close the experience for any reason we will offer you a full refund or the option to book an alternative session (subject to availability).

Gifts & Photos:

If your gift is broken or damaged please let us know within 48 hours and we will provide a replacement. Please check all photo products before you leave the experience to check you are happy with the layout. Photos and merchandise must be paid for on the day of the event.  Refunds will only be available for faulty goods.

Can I change my booked session time?

Unfortunately we cannot change session times and cannot provide refunds for sessions missed.  

Can I book additional needs group and School party visits?
We welcome pre-booked parties. Please contact our call centre to discuss your visit and special requirements via email tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk and a member of the team will contact you to discuss your visit

What is involved in your Inclusive Relaxed Sessions and how do I book?

Inclusive Relaxed Sessions are available for any families with special needs – The sessions are adapted in a variety of ways, including more relaxed noise and lighting effects, in order to reduce anxiety and ensure a safe, enjoyable visit.  A bit like a quiet carriage on the train – but the opposite! Our aim is to ensure they you will not feel you have to apologise for your children being themselves and that, as a family, you are free to be yourselves without fear of judgment. During an Inclusive Relaxed session our team will try to help everyone feel comfortable enough to talk, sing, dance and even shout out at any point during the experience. To book your tickets for these sessions please email tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk and a member of our team will contact you.  If you are unable to attend one of these sessions then we recommend that weekdays and earlier times at the weekend as these will be quieter in the open sessions.  Please ensure that you complete the special requirements section and we will try to accommodate you wherever possible although it would not be possible to reduce noise and lighting effects in open sessions and the experience may well be quite busy at peak times.

When should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at the event no earlier than 5 minutes before your pre-booked time slot.

Is there somewhere I can leave my bags & buggies? There will be an allocated area for buggies. Please note that you leave them at your own risk.

Is the experience wheelchair friendly?
Yes, the Post Room experience and visit to Santa is wheelchair friendly. However, whilst many photo themed booths are accessible for all, some of them may be more difficult to access fully. Please email us at tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk at least 48 hours prior to your visit if you have any specific requirements. One complimentary ticket for a carer accompanying a customer with additional needs may be booked per session.

Is the experience suitable for babies?

Yes, the Christmas Post Room is suitable for all ages.

Can we bring food and drink into the Experience?
No, we would ask that you refrain from eating and drinking please.

Can we take photographs?
Post Room Experience
 - If you are visiting the Post Room we encourage you to capture as many photos as you wish, and we would love for you to share your pictures via Instagram and Facebook tagging @lovemeadowhall and #MHPostRoom.

Santa Visits - If you are visiting Santa you are not permitted to take photographs in the grotto itself, but your magical moment will be captured with a professional photograph and a memento will be available to purchase alongside other gifted items at the end of your experience.

Where will I find the Christmas Post Room?
The Christmas Post Room is situated on upper level Arcade, next to Lakeland near to M&S. The ticket desk is located inside the Christmas Post Room.

Are there baby change facilities?
Meadowhall provides baby change facilities in all toilets. The closest to the Christmas Post Room are located on upper level Oasis.

What gift will my child receive?
Each child attending a Santa visit will receive an age/gender appropriate gift.

Will my child have a one to one visit or a group visit?
Each child/family with have a personal one to one visit with Santa.

How do I make a group booking?
Groups should book via the call centre telephone number so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Will Santa be made aware of my child’s disabilities and act accordingly if necessary?
Yes, if you enter the details of your child’s disabilities when booking your tickets, our staff will be made aware.

Will a photo be taken of my child’s visit?
Yes, a photograph will be taken during the visit with Santa. And customers are advised they are not allowed to take photographs on their own cameras or phones. 

Where can I park?
There are 12,000 free parking spaces and direct access via rail, road and tram. 

Parking at Meadowhall is free for all customers.

Is there disabled access and parking?
Yes, the Christmas Post Room has disabled access and we have 350 disabled access spaces, please head to the orange car park for those nearest the Shopmobility Desk outside Argos. There are self-drive scooters and wheelchairs available for your use. These can be pre-booked by calling the Meadowhall Careline on 0333 313 2000 before you arrive.

I don't have a car – where is the nearest public transport?
The centre is easy to reach thanks to the Meadowhall Passenger Transport Interchange (PTI).

By Bus - 120 buses arrive here every hour.
By Train - Up to 400 trains come to our interchange.
By Tram - Every 10 minutes a Supertram arrives. Take a look at the Travel South Yorkshire website for times and fares

To get to us from the PTI bridge please make your way through Marks and Spencer into the centre and you will find us located on the left-hand side next to Lakeland.
