When does the Grotto open?
12pm on Saturday 23rd November 2019, and will open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Christmas. The Grotto will also be open Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th December.

When do Santa and his elves finish for the year? 
This experience closes on Christmas Eve 24th December, with the last bookings available at 3.30pm on that day.

What will my visit consist of?
Your visit will include an individual visit with Santa in his grotto, an opportunity to explore Santa’s Grotto and each paying child receives an age appropriate wrapped gift.

How much will my visit cost?
Your visit to Santa will be £7.50 per child and will include a gift from Santa. Up to 4 accompanying adults free, additional accompanying adults £1.50 each and can be purchased on the day.

Do you offer any discounts for group bookings?
Yes, at certain times, for bookings of 5 or more, please contact garden.enquiries@oldrids.co.uk for further details.

Is there a charge for babes in arms under 12 months old?
Yes, we are offering a special first Christmas package for babes in arms under 12 months old. The price is £7.50 and includes a visit with Santa, 'My First Visit with Santa' Certificate, and a photo.

Why should I book in advance?
We recommend that you pre-book your tickets to avoid disappointment. We anticipate there will be tickets available for some slots on the day, but we cannot guarantee.

If I choose not to book in advance, how can I obtain a ticket?
If you choose not to book in advance, it may be possible to purchase a ticket on the day at the tills on the first floor however, availability is not guaranteed.

Will I receive a ticket once I have booked?
Yes, you will be emailed an e-ticket if you book in advance via the website. This e-ticket will need to be brought with you when you visit Santa.

Can I book a special needs group visit?
Yes, please contact our garden centre on 01476 512333  to discuss your visit and special requirements.

Can I book a school party visit?
Yes, please contact garden.enquiries@oldrids.co.uk for further details.

When should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at the event no earlier than 5 minutes before your pre-booked time slot.

Is there somewhere to put buggies?
There will be an allocated area for buggies. Please note that you leave them at your own risk.

Is there access for wheelchairs?
There is full disability access.

Can we bring food and drink into the Experience?
No. We would ask that you refrain from eating and drinking please.

Can we take photographs?
Yes, but there will also be the option for us to capture your magical moment for you with professional photography and a memento will be available to purchase including glitter globes, frames and Christmas baubles at the end of the experience.
