When will Peter Rabbit be in his Secret Garden at The Trafford Centre? The experience opens on Thursday 22nd July and will be open every day until Monday 30th August.

How much will my visit cost? Your visit to Peter Rabbits Secret Garden will cost £12.00 per child and £10.00 per adult. A booking fee will apply and will be added at checkout.


Will I receive a ticket once I have booked? 
Yes, you will be emailed an e-ticket if you book in advance via the onsite box office or this website. You should receive your email within 20 minutes of booking - please check your spam folder if you have not received it within that time and contact tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk.  You can either print your ticket or show it on your mobile phone at the entrance to the experience. For tickets booked at the box office for the same day you will receive a printed ticket.

Will I receive a refund if I cannot attend the experience due to illness or self isolation?  Tickets to this event are not refundable however we will try to offer an alternative date - subject to availability. We respectfully ask for as much notice as possible to allow us to try and resell the tickets.

What happens during our visit? Families will be welcomed into Mrs Rabbits burrow to decorate plant pots in preparation to meet Squirrel Nutkin and sneak past Mr. McGregor in his garden to collect carrot seeds and soil pellets to take home and plant. All children will receive a vegan friendly, healthy treat before moving through to meet Peter Rabbit, in the form of the classic costume character, in his secret woodland clearing for a professional photo opportunity.

How long does the experience last? The experience will last approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Visit times may vary due to positioning within each group and experience flow.

Will we meet the real Peter Rabbit and his friends? You will meet a full size costume character of the classic Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit but the other characters within the experience are portrayed by actors.

What age is the experience suitable for? It is suitable for children from 24 months.

Is there a charge for babies in arms under 12 months old? Babies in arms, accompanying a sibling will not be charged, but they will not be able to participate in the craft activity. If you are bringing a baby on their own, then the price of a child ticket will apply.

Are there any dedicated inclusive sessions available? Yes Inclusive Relaxed Sessions are available for any families with special requirements. The sessions are adapted in a variety of ways; including reducing noise and lighting effects.  If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, then we recommend that weekdays and earlier times at the weekend may be quieter than in the open sessions.  Please ensure that you complete the special requirements section and we will try to accommodate you wherever possible. Please note, it would not be possible to reduce noise and lighting effects in open sessions and the experience may well be quite busy at peak times.

Why should I book in advance? We recommend that you pre-book your tickets to avoid disappointment. There may be tickets available for some slots on the day, but these will be sold on a first come, first served basis and demand will be high at peak times. 

If I choose not to book in advance, how can I obtain a ticket? If you choose not to book in advance, it may be possible to purchase a ticket on the day at the box office however, availability is not guaranteed. 


Can I book a special requirement group and school party visits? We welcome pre-booked parties. Please email our ticketing team at tickets@eskimojoevents.co.uk to arrange your visit and special requirements. 

When should I arrive? We recommend that you arrive at the event approximately 5 minutes before your pre-booked time slot. We recommend that you do not come any earlier than 5 minutes before your time slot as there will not be capacity to queue, due to additional Covid-19 controls in place to keep all visitors safe.

Is there somewhere to put buggies? There is an area to park your buggy inside the experience.

Is there access for wheelchairs? There is full disability access throughout the experience.

Can we bring food and drink into the Experience? No. Please refrain from eating and drinking throughout the experience.

Can we take our own photographs with Peter Rabbit? No, but your magical moment will be captured with professional photography and a memento will be available to purchase at the end of the experience.

Will there be additional Covid-19 measures in place? Yes. The safety of our visitors and staff within the experience is our top priority.

  • There will be hand sanitising points situated throughout the experience. Adults and children over the age of 11 must wear a face covering (unless they are exempt.)
  • Tickets will be sold in bubbles of up to six people per group
  • The experience has been arranged to be safe and allowing you to be socially distanced from other groups.
