These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to access and attendance at The John Lewis Lounge (the “Lounge”) operated by John Lewis plc (“we”, “us”, or “our”) at John Lewis Oxford Street (the “Store”). Please read these Terms carefully before booking or visiting.
By booking or entering the Lounge, you (“you”, “the guest”, or “the attendee”) agree to comply with these Terms and the John Lewis Partnership In-Store Events Terms and Conditions. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
1.1 Access to the Lounge is exclusive to My John Lewis members. Entry is free of charge.
1.2 Non-members may register for My John Lewis membership in advance online or on the day at the Lounge entrance.
1.3 Each member may bring up to two guests. Guests must arrive and remain with the member during their visit.
1.4 Children are welcome but the Lounge is designed for adults. We recommend a maximum of three children per adult.
1.5 Only guide and assistance dogs are permitted inside the Lounge, in line with John Lewis catering space policy.
2.1 The Lounge operates 3 November – 24 December 2025.
2.2 Opening hours:
3.1 Bookings can be made in advance online via https://tickets.eskimojoevents.co.uk/jlml25.
3.2 Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability on the day.
3.3 A booking confirmation will be emailed to the address provided at the time of booking. Please check that your details are accurate and up to date.
3.4 Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked time to allow for check-in.
3.5 At busy times, visits may be limited to one hour to ensure fair access for all guests.
3.6 Guests who arrive more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their slot and entry will be offered to walk-in guests.
3.7 If you are unable to attend your booking, please contact the Eskimo Jo email address listed in your confirmation email as soon as possible.
3.8 Repeat visits are permitted, subject to availability.
4.1 Each member is entitled to one complimentary drink — either a hot beverage or a glass of English sparkling wine, served with small bites by Benugo.
4.2 Non-alcoholic options are available. Alcohol will only be served to those aged 18 and over, and ID may be requested.
4.3 Additional drinks and light bites are available to purchase from the Lounge menu.
4.4 Neal’s Yard Remedies will offer complimentary mini treatments, which can be booked on arrival using the in-lounge sign-up sheet.
5.1 We ask that all guests treat other visitors, Lounge staff and John Lewis Partners with courtesy and respect.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse admission or request any guest to leave the Lounge if, in our reasonable opinion, their behaviour causes or is likely to cause nuisance, offence, or discomfort to others.
5.3 Guests must comply with all reasonable instructions given by Lounge staff.
5.4 You may not record, photograph or transmit any part of the Lounge experience for commercial purposes.
5.5 The Lounge is for personal, non-commercial use only.
6.1 The Lounge is fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
6.2 Please inform staff of any food allergies or dietary requirements prior to consuming any refreshments.
6.3 You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing during your visit.
6.4 For events or treatments involving alcohol or wellness activity, you agree to participate responsibly and at your own risk.
7.1 We reserve the right to cancel or amend Lounge access or services (including treatments or refreshments) due to unforeseen circumstances.
7.2 Where possible, we will provide advance notice by email or telephone using the details provided on your booking.
7.3 In the unlikely event of cancellation, John Lewis will not be liable for any travel costs, inconvenience, or other losses.
8.1 Any personal information collected through Lounge booking or attendance will be handled in accordance with the John Lewis Privacy Notice, available at johnlewis.com/privacy.
8.2 Your data may be processed by trusted third-party partners (e.g. booking platform providers such as Eventbrite) acting on our behalf and in compliance with data protection laws.
9.1 Except as required by law, John Lewis excludes all warranties and representations in relation to the Lounge.
9.2 We accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage sustained as a result of your attendance, except where caused by our negligence.
9.3 The Lounge is provided for domestic and private enjoyment only; we will not be liable for any loss of business, profit or opportunity.
10.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be available on the Lounge booking page.
10.2 These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
